"It's like taking a nap on that little rug when you were in kindergarten."

Oh the Places You’ll Go … Part 2

“You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.”

I love the sentiment in this great Dr. Seuss book. It got me thinking about the places I have lived. During this examination, I was shocked at how many places there were. Makes me look totally nomadic. Here’s a few of them, in no particular order:

Rome, New York; Winfield, Kansas; Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Bicester, England; San Diego, California; Omaha, Nebraska; Rantoul, Illinois; and Roseville, California.

Each place has been unique and added something enriching to my life and the lives of those in my family. Of course, each town brings it’s own challenges as well – be it weather, school, high taxes, etc.

Where have you lived; and if you have a favorite place, what made it so special?

  1. Love Dr. Suess. Your question gave me pause and a topic to blog about today myself. Check it out and crank up those stats at http://dingbatdigest.com

Love to hear from you.
