Drum roll, please: Join me in celebrating my 7th anniversary. After so much hard work and careful crafting over the first six, you are now reading a monumental piece of literary history. That’s right … this is my seventh blog post.
I am now part of that group of great bloggers like Seth Godin and Jason Kottke. After coming out of the gate strong with a paltry single comment on my first blog, the oft-watched “Stats” section now boasts staggering numbers in the triple digits.
Now that I’ve reached this milestone, I may need to get a bigger server to handle the volume of comments coming through (insert vision of a large warehouse with banks of old school, giant computers). Like the infamous Amazon crash in April, my teaming blog views may bring down WordPress. One can only imagine the exponential increase in ether-traffic by the time this blog turns 25 (posts, that is!)
Just to give you an idea of where I am already – after a mere six blog posts – here are just a few of the comments that have poured in:
“Im speechless. This is a superb blog and very enticing too. Great work!”
“Thank you, your post is very valuable as always. Keep up the good work! You’ve got +1 more reader of your blog:)”
“I like this weblog very much.”
I know, you’re thinking, “Wow, this guy’s pretty good.” Right??
(Fade to Wayne’s World dream sequence). Who wouldn’t want great SPAM comments like those?!?
